Audio Podcast Samples
In 2006 Barb Luhring was recognized as one of the country’s first female audio podcasters at the first ever PodcasterCon which took place at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC.

Please check out some of my favorite podcasts

  • A Facilitated Audio Conversation: Between Door County, Wisconsin restaurateur Al Johnson and his pal, writer Norb Blei.(By the way – you WILL find out why Al put goats on the roof of his restaurant!)

  • An Audio Tapestry: My mother Alice Baryenbruch and I gather up her prized nun collection and headed to Antiques Roadshow in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to see if porcelain nuns will make her rich!

  • In 2005 Jean Feraca was a guest on PopGoestheCulture, a podcast co-hosted by Barb Luhring and Susie Watson from Sister Bay, Wisconsin. The topic was podcasting and Jean wanted to talk about it in terms of the future of radio.  Jean’s own show, Wisconsin Public Radio’s Here on Earth became one of the first shows to be available via podcast feed shortly after this interview was recorded. (PGTC ran for 3 years.)
